Hassan accommodated our last minute booking and picked us up from our hotel. Hassan was really friendly and trailered our guided tour to our requests. Hassan has a vast knowledge of Marrakech and its history. He guided us through the medina and souk with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. Overall a great experience and highly recommend!

Imagine our surprise when meeting our guide outside Cafe France to find out that it was a completely personalised tour just for us. This enabled us to dictate what we were really interested in seeing. Would 100% recommend as not only did we have a once in a life time experience – we also got to learn so much history and culture.

Hassan was the most incredible tour guide! He is flexible and tailors your experience to what you want to see, is extremely knowledgeable of the old city and surrounding areas in Marrakech, and speaks over 5 languages fluently.
As young solo female travelers, my friend and I hired him as our guide for 2 full days in Marrakech to ensure we could maximize our time and Hassan provided just that. He was an incredible guide and took us around in a brand new Mercedes sprinter van with A/C. We felt extremely safe and looked after with Hassan, he would even point out when we needed to watch our step walking on uneven surfaces. Everywhere we went from our Riad in the old city, to shops in town, and even passing by other tour guides – Hassan knew everyone. We were stopped on numerous occasions by other guides as they said hello to Hassan and every single one of them told us “he’s the best” and they were right.
Hassan is a must-have guide for your trip to Morocco – even beyond Marrakech!
He told us about his family – his wife, daughter, and son – and looked after us like we were his own daughters. Not only is Hassan an amazing guide but he is also a wonderful person. While we were visiting the High Atlas Mountains, we saw an elderly woman carrying what must have been double her body weight in wood up a steep hill and Hassan went up to her and gave her some money. He didn’t do this for show or anything other than just the good of his heart. I even came down with Covid on our second day with Hassan (but did not know this at the time) and he handled me and my grumpy mood from being sick so kindly. He was also very kind when I informed him the next day that I had tested positive and wasn’t worried about catching it as much as he was worried about me getting better and wishing me well.
He is also one of the few guides that does not take commission from stores or shops that we visited and purchased items from – something I think was reflected in his much loved and respected reputation that we saw firsthand.
When I return to Morocco one day, I will 100% work with Hassan and hire him as a guide again. I would also recommend him to anyone traveling to Morocco – especially any female/solo travelers looking for a safe and secure trip visiting that beautiful country!

Hassan’s tour was excellent – super fun and friendly! He expertly guided us through all of the treasures that the medina has to offer. Hassan had great knowledge of Marrakesh and its history, and ensured that our introduction to Marrakech’s medina and souks was one to remember.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic tour of this vibrant city!

We found Hassan on TripAdvisor and what a find!
We booked and paid via the net at lunch time for a 5 pm Private shopping tour the same day.
Hassan arrived promptly at our hotel with his driver in a Luxury Mercedes Vito minivan and introduced himself and started to enquire what we wanted to see and do on our trip.
Hassan is a true professional and an expert in his craft and one of the best tour guides I have experienced, he listened to what we had to say and constructed our tour accordingly.
We arrived in the Medina and proceeded to explore the Palace that houses the Dar El Bacha coffee shop …….
We then started exploring the Souk markets, not the tat you get dragged in to off the square but proper artisans, woodcarvers , Painters, metalworkers and lantern makers.
We visited all the places and crafts that Hassan had gleaned from our initial first conversation and this is what sets him up as the perfect guide , his attention to detail.
At no point did we feel under any pressure to purchase anything from any of the places Hassan took us to but we did buy what we wanted and Hassan negotiated a fair price with a fair amount of Berber banter.
We went to a carpet shop, saw the carpets being made and a trip to the rooftop of the Riad by the carpet shops owner for a view of the city, absolutely no obligation just a really nice touch and something you couldn’t find on your own.
Hassan provided a running commentary as we walked around all the tiny alleyways that connect the souks of where we were and what the historical story was, excellent.
We wanted to look at some authentic Moroccan linen shirts and Hassan took us to a souk that had some amazing and bespoke shirts crafted by the owner again no pressure but the gear was top notch quality and exactly what we wanted to remember our trip, again all the hassle of getting a fair price was taken care of by Hassan with typical Berber banter.
Again no obligation to buy.
As the tour was drawing towards a close Hassan took us trough the Spice market and we tasted fresh olives and experienced the health shop and purchased some Green tea and some spices for just a few pounds , no pressure sell at all. It was what we wanted and where we wanted to be.
The icing on the cake for us was a stroll across the Jemaa El- Fnaa Square and all its madness to a rooftop cafe to look down on all the performers and vendors whilst sipping mint tea and Coffee and munching our Pastries Hassan had selected for us.
Another stroll across the square took us back to our waiting Limo and driver who whisked us back to our Hotel for about 9:15pm.
All in all way more than you could ever discover on your own, believe me ,we tried.
If you want the best tour guide in town book Hassan you won’t be disappointed , he is also a really nice Guy.
Thank you Hassan.

Hassan is the best and most fun guide in Morocco! He is so easy to work with and will tailor your tour to whatever you like (shopping, eating, mountains, museums, etc.). He is very flexible with changing plans if there’s something different you want to do last minute which is sometimes hard to find with a tour group. I definitely had such a great time in Morocco because of him and would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family.

You get to see all the inside spots in the medina! A very nice tour and a very friendly man. You get to see spots which you cannot see when you are without guide. We had a great experience

I cannot recommend this tour and the tour guide Hassan enough. It was a wonderful morning of shopping, with high quality artisans at great prices. He tailored the tour to what we wanted to look at / buy AND he managed to show us a few hidden sights along the way which was such a bonus! Everyone he introduced us to was helpful friendly and not at all pushy. To top it off he also took us to a local spot for lunch that was delicious and had great vegetarian food (which is sometimes hard to find). His pride for his country, city and knowledge of the history and sights shone through and wants you to experience everything Marrakech has to offer.
To top it all off, before we even touched down in Marrakech, Hassan provided excellent customer service. He was communicative and I had wished I had reached out soon to ask specific questions about currency exchange, tours etc. He also took a lot of care for you to feel safe as well had a great laugh along the way!
You MUST see the city with Hassan and we will be 100% booking again with Hassan for our next visit!

There are not enough words to describe how amazing our time in Marrakech was with Hassan. He took such exceptional care of us in every way. Hassan goes out of his way to ensure his travelers feel as at home in Marrakech as he does. He takes pride in his country and city and wants to deeply to be sure people experience it to the fullest. If you want an incomparable experience in Marrakech, you’ll see the city with Hassan! We will be back to see him with our family as soon as we can!
